After working as a High School Art Instructor for 32 years, I began a second career as a full time artist. It quickly became apparent that my home study/studio was not going to be sufficient for my needs so I began plans to build a separate studio in back of the house. Those plans have now become a reality and I’m enjoying the freedom and challenge of having my own working space. I am slowly developing the discipline to keep things reasonably neat and organized while maintaining the necessary clutter of a daily work routine. It is a joy to go to work every morning, and “stay late” when the muse whispers midnight benedictions in the chapel of late night inspiration.
